Wood Chips or Wood Pellets?

What do you have you tried ?? I'm looking to get supplies for my hen house this weekend. I am so excited!!

I am looking for the best type of bedding to put in the floor of the house. I was wondering if pellets would work. Or will that be to fine for the girls to breath be on?

We use pine shavings, not the fine shavings, but flake shavings. It works great for our coops.

I use a mixture of shavings and pellets. So far so good.
