Wood ducks are a protected wild migratory bird, and other than for rehabilitation (for which you need a special license) I do not believe you are allowed to keep them. There is, however,a domesticated duck that looks a lot like them. The duck people can set you right on that.

Well we live on a little river called the rainbow river its in a little old time town . I grew up here and its like the bass capital. And ever since before i was born my dad raised ducks and geese and iworked on a preserve for about 13 yrs.but good to be here hello friends !
