Wood for run question

I'm making plans for my chicken run. Do I need to use pressure treated wood other than the pieces that come in contact with the ground?
What about the trusses that go under the metal roofing?
We get an average of 8 inches of rainfall per year and total of 13 in snowfall.

When we built our run we used pressure treated lumber for everything that is exposed to the elements. The trusses are not treated.

If your verticals touch the ground use PT, if not no; trusses do not need PT.
There is a picture of my run at the end of "My Coop" series. I used telephone poles & HC pretty much everywhere.
