Woods-Style Coop Construction---Help appreciated

Continued working for an hour on the broody box. Added cleats with DH help, one inside holidng cleat in posistion and me outside with drill to place the screws. Cut a notch out of the roof section, put into place, and DH stood on ladder to screw into place as his arms are long enought to reach.

All supports are in place. THe rat wire that I had selected is too small; will hold that for another poject. Hunted down another pc. will test for fit tomorrw. Two supports are placed 16 in center allowing for a simple pop door. Will slide into place, held by gravity.


Need to create a support to hold up a log 2 feet off the groud for a roost. If anyone has a suggestion, all ideas are welcome.
