Hey all!

I'm currently working to change the ordinance in Woodstock... clearly by the thread name.
I've started a facebook page, I've made flyers to hand out at the local farmers market, and I plan to go before city council Nov 7th. I think I've got my chickens in a row :)

One thing I've haven't really thought about is a petition. Do you think that would be helpful? Or do you think having more people at the city council meetings would have a bigger impact?

Thanks!
Maggie

Petitions are always wonderful, as they show that you have the support, not only of your community, but from people all over the world! Petitions can definitely help to put things in perspective. If I were you, I’d do both! Start a petition, share it online, and get as many local people in your community to attend if they can. Good luck! And if you start a petition, be sure to put it up here on BYC- if it has to do with chickens, you’ll have a lot of support :)
