WooHoo First egg today 1/13...but who did it??? We got a 2nd!!!

I am so Eggcited for you!!! Congrats on your VERY FIRST EGG!
Our Buff Orp. and Silver Laced Wynd have been laying for the last couple months
but just last week our EE started laying and we are so excited to see their eggs
so many different colors and shades! We got 2 dark olive green from one of them
but we just do not know which one...LOL! It is one of the most enjoyable part of
my day is to go down and see what we find!

Well today we got another egg!

We must have a sneaky girl because I was out there all morning trying to catch who did it. I think it is the same girl because the egg looks the same. Hopefully the others catch on to what they are supposed to be doing besides making me fertilizer.

I know what you mean when we got our First Egg I called everyone and I also Emailed everyone
and attached photos of it! Now I call my Mom and Dad and tell them all about the daily
Hen Stories... what's happening in the Coop, they seem to enjoy hearing about it - or
they are just to polite to say OK ALRIGHT ALREADY... LOL! I know most our friends think
I am nuts for the hole Hen thing.

I'm pretty sure they are all from the same hen. I have one out of eight that seems to be a little older, and she started squatting the beginnig of last week when I came in the run to feed them. If you have one that's been sqautting down she's probably the culpret. It is exciting when you finally get that first egg!
