I can finally upload a picture from this morning now that my camera is at full charge. Here she is. Broody as can be.

Poor Turkey! Hopefully all her feathers will grow back while she's broody...except the ones she's going to pull out of her belly for the eggs.

Hurray! Hurray!

I am SO glad it worked. I know there are rules to candling, but before I knew that, we "candled" (I didn't know it was called that at the time) at 1 week and 2 weeks. 2 days before the eggs were "scheduled" to hatch, we held about half of the eggs and got some to chirp at us! I almost dropped the egg when this happened! I also thought I was hearing things. But no, I tried again, I chirped and then the egg chirped. We also could actually feel them "jump" in our hands! Again, I am sure there are rules, but we just "winged it" (no pun intended)!
