I've been putting my sixteen almost 7 week old chicks up in the loft of their coop for the last week to give them the idea that it is a good place to be at night, but they always come down and sleep on the ground. Tonight after a date out with the wife I check on them, and they are on the roost! Funny how docile they were up there.
