I just checked the momma duck and 5 small holes and one fully hatched duckling, shes moving the eggs around an aweful lot is this normal.

Welllllllll, Of course. As sonn as I get an clear view, they are khaki cambells and there are 23 of them.

That's a lot of babies at one time!

So far 10 has been my highest and I cheated and sold 5 within days of hatching.

It's so exciting isn't it?

I have 5 Indian Runner duck eggs in my incubator right now, due to hatch tomorrow! Last time I checked the water channels and candled the eggs quick (I stop opening the 'bator after the first pip, but until then I check on them constantly

) I had 3 pipped into the air cells, and the other two I can just see moving around in there (not internally pipped yet), positioning themselves to hatch.

I'm really hoping that this will be my first 100% hatch, and I'm crossing my fingers for your hatch to be a great success too!
