And they had silkie chicks. And a 50 cent bin of chicks. The $0.50 bin chicks were filthy but they looked like assorted reds with some Cornish X in there. We bought 10 red chicks, 5 silkies, and 1 mystery chick.
One of the reds. I *think* these are red stars although some have wings that are showing some banding and some do not.
Here is one silkie. They were all white that we saw. But that is fine with us. With some Australorps, Wyandottes, and Easter Eggers we needed a splash of white.
And here is the mystery chick. In the clearance bin, it was one of a kind. There were no others that looked like it. That is why we picked it up. I am willing to bet that it is a boy but does anyone have a clue what breed this is?
