BTW: I did a search on Ebay for Redwing boots and they have a good selection of them for a lot cheaper than what they are in the store. But, you can't try them on before you buy. If you are willing to take the chance, they may be worth it.
Mucks are a brand that I'm considering...Redwings look to be the real deal and are beautiful but I don't need that much boot as I work in an office 9-5 *sigh*
I actually have several pair of work boots. Muck boots for wet locations and working in the chicken runs, H&R cowboy boots, and an insulated Wolverine 10" workboot. None of them were cheap but in the long run they cost less. My work boots cost from $100 - 150 and one of my employees was shock at the cost. He would spend less than $50 on his and would get 1 year versus my 5 or 6 years. Do the math, he never could.
