I have made duck goods before with no problem. A week ago I made waffles and my significant other said their stomach felt a little weird about 1 1/2 to 2 hours later, but it passed. This weekend I made cookies and two hours later my significant other was vomiting and felt terrible ill.
I suspect this is a duck egg protein intolerance. Dang it!
I heard once upon a time, I don't recall if it was on here or not, that parents have successfully worked through chicken egg intolerances with their children and now their children are fine. Does anyone know anything about this, if it has been tried with duck eggs, how it is done, and what the possible success rates are?
