Avery stuck his head under the window and looked down at the ground. The grass was long and green. A perfect landing. He looked at Ari. "When you jump down, stay low in the grass and run for the woods over there." He gestured to the woods with his tail. "We don't want anyone to see us."
Ari followed suit, jumping off the window sill into the grass. She landed lightly on her feet, surprising her. She had expected to go splat!
Avery could see where Ari was by the grass moving around her as she ran. He smiled and crouched low, preparing to pounce on her as soon as she ran out of the long grass. He chuckled to himself.

Avery ran forward and pounced on Ari as soon as she came into view.(lol)
Ari could hear Avery up ahead and headed in that direction. She finally reached the forest, letting out a sigh of relief.
Ari yelped as someone, or something, pounced on her as she entered the forest.
Avery rolled onto the ground laughing histerically. When he finally stopped laughing enough to speak, he said, "Scared you, didn't I?" Then he started laughing again.
Ari glared at him to cover up her grin, but couldn't more than a few seconds. She burst out laughing. "You...jerk!" She said between laughs. She swatted him in the ear with her paw.
Avery laughed and pushed her gently with his paws. "You should've seen the look on your face." He grinned at her.
