Worlds Largest Egg?

HOLY COW! If I converted correctly, that would be 7.05 ounces! Are you SURE that's a chicken egg? I have one in the fridge that weighs 4.15 ounces, and every chicken person I've shown it to says it's a goose egg - they don't believe it came from a chicken. Yours is almost TWICE that size? I'd think that would rip a poor hen apart, poor thing! OWIE!!!!

I might just call the local paper tomorrow.

Although the measurements are'nt totally accurate because i need a proper egg measurer, it it still a whopper and worth mentioning.

I promise its an egg from one of my white bog-standard chickens. There wasnt any blood on egg or chicken either. I'll see who it was tomorrow. Just spot the one that is walking like John Wayne lol
