Worm in chicken poop!

I just wormed my chickens about a half an hour a go or so. I have the biggest hen who is 8.6 pounds, 2 ml.
The medium sized hens 5-6 pounds got 1.5 ml and the smallest one I gave her only 1 ml.
Does this sound right to you? Thanks! :)

That's about how much I would give mine if I wanted to treat large roundworms and cecal worms.

Ok thanks,
Should I look for worms in their poop to see if the wormer is working or will it take a few days?

Ok,
I was able to do it yesterday but today I had no one to help me and little time to do all my hens again today.

Is it ok if I do it again in ten days like other dewormers or should I do it tomorrow. Would it work if I do it again in ten well 9 days from today. Thanks.

The amount you gave yesterday will treat large roundworms and cecal worms, but will not treat gapeworms or capillary worms, those need multiple days. If you do just the one day dose you need to follow the one day dose again in ten days. If you want to treat for all worms it should be five days

Do you want to treat for capillary worms and gape worms? Not sure if skipping a day will matter, but to get capillary and gapes you need to treat 3-4 more times in a row. FWIW, I do 5 consecutive days, but many people do only 3.

Worm 3 days in a row, minimum, when using safeguard liquid goat wormer. It's best to worm chickens prior to feeding them first thing in the mornings. The wormer will be more effective when the worms are at their weakest by not feeding off nutrients from feed.

How can I deworming my chickens if I can't catch and hold them to treat? Is there any other way than orally with a syringe? And do all chickens need deworming? Mine are 17 weeks old.
