Worm in chicken poop!

I'm in the same boat over here ,I have a roo I just noticed had worms so I immediately wormed him . We have had terrible rain for weeks and a couple of my chickens also got the sniffles so everyone is being medicated . My question is can my roo survive the worms if I wormed him in time he's in and shape but he's pooping dead worms ....???

Yes, he'll survive. Since he has worms, it would be best to worm your hens as well. BTW, what wormer did you use?

I just discovered the same type of worm in chicken poop in my coop. This thread was so helpful. I gave all 7 girls (12-16 weeks old) 0.5cc of safeguard and will continue for the next 2 days, as recommended. I'm not sure which chicken it was, but after worming I locked them all in the coop (which could easily hold 20 more chickens so they have plenty of room and ventilation) with fresh water and food. I know I personally can't get these worms from the chickens, but my dogs regularly clean up the yard of chicken poop, no matter how much I try to stop them. Should I get a dewormer for my dogs too? Pic of said vile worm.
