Worm in egg???

Is it possible to find worms in my hen's eggs? Every once in awhile my Barred Rock hen has this. I hard boil the egg and there is a rice sized brown ''thing'' in the white of the egg.

It's possible. I think it would be more likely to be a meat spot. Can you post a picture the next time it happens?

I have no experience with it but I've read several debates on here where some say it isn't possible and some say it is!

Yes. It is possible, but not likely. Most likely you're dealing with a meat spot as Imp stated.

Gross! The round worms look sick and I sure hope I never find a lizard in an egg! HAHA!

Should I deworm my chickens?? They have a very clean coop, large and lots of grassy area to run free. Their "yard" is about 150 x 30 feet.
