All 6 of my chickens have been laying eggs for a few weeks now. All of them are acting normal eating etc. today I went to collect the egg, the egg was clean but I noticed a weird worm on the shell .. first time I’ve seen this. I have not noticed any worms in their poop either. I don’t know if it’s actually from her or what. Has anyone else experienced this?

Only picture I have.

Do you know what bird that egg is from?

I can't see it very well but I would immediately check all of my birds' vents for poopy feathers and fly strike.
Flies will sometimes lay eggs on the poopy butt fluff of chickens causing maggots to hatch. If left unchecked they can eat into the chicken and even cause death.

So my first thing would be to check every chicken's butt and then to deal with possible internal parasites after that has been ruled out.

Butt fluff feathers don't have pin feathers really so you can trim them with scissors but not too close. You can also bathe them clean but definitely take a very close look for maggots.
I believe physical removal and spray treatment is used if you do find maggots. You should be able to get some good information by searching by for fly strike treatment.

We've never personally dealt with it but it is a big worry of mine here in our hot muggy and buggy summers.
