Worm?

This was in the eighth egg I cracked in bowl. Threw it all in the trash. Am assuming it’s a worm. I tried to fish it out with my fingers, yuck, was rubbery, thick, solid, and not round.
I looked up chalaza and didn’t find much info.

I wormed last year with Valbazen. Thought I might get away without worming this year as it has been so dry.

please confirm it’s a worm
