mdbokc. You're correct about using wazine first. FYI, wazine only gets rid of large roundworms...thus clearing the way for a 2nd wormer to get rid of roundworm larva and other types of worms. I also rotate 2nd wormers between safeguard and valbazen, to prevent worm immunity to any give wormer. Valbazen kills tapeworms as well. I see what you're saying regarding your eggs; saving them prior to worming, then giving them back to your chickens after worming. I've done that as well in conjunction with adding yogurt or buttermilk with the eggs and feed. Probiotics and extra protein(eggs) helps rebuild their immune systems. Sometimes I've substituted canned beef catfood in lieu of eggs.
