Wormed two days ago, still seeing live worms in poo

I'm so glad I saw this post ............ I am fairly new to owning chickens ......... I have 8 pullets between the ages of 9 weeks - 14 weeks. I've only had them for a month now. I don't believe they have ever been treated for worms as a preventative ........are they too young to treat as a preventative? Where do you get valbazen?

Since you live in NH, it might be best to wait until your birds are about 8-11 months old. If you have warm moist soil most of the time, you'd want to worm more frequently. If they act lethargic, slacked off or stopped eating/drinking...worming might be necessary if it isnt coccidia.
If your feed store doesnt carry safeguard liquid goat wormer or valbazen cattle/sheep wormer, Jefferslivestock.com carries either, or you can call them.

Thank you so much for the information ...... my girls all seem very healthy and I want to keep them that way. I will wait till they are a few months older like you suggested.
