Update: I wormed everyone last night that wasn't still on the Tylan doses (which was most of the originally lethargic hens) the rest I will do over the next couple of days. Those still on Tylan are only showing respiratory symptoms for now anyway so I figured I would continue treating that.
I found quite a few dead worms on the board this morning and a couple live ones so I feel like the Valbazen was a good move. Thank you for the input from those that suggested to go ahead.
QUESTION: What is the minimum age to worm? I have quite a few young birds in my flock ranging from 3weeks to 20 weeks. Who should and shouldn't get some?
Everyone seems to be improving as far as energy and appetite except for one hen I'm afraid is going to have to be put down. She is severely lethargic and not eating or drinking. I have been giving he water with probiotics and electrolytes by syringe,6ccs every few hours.
I'm not sure what else I can do for her. She already had 3 doses of Tylan and I went ahead and gave her the Valbazen last night but she still is pretty out of it.... I'm just hoping she can find a way to pull through.
