Safeguard and Wazine will *not* treat tapeworms, for tapes you need praziquantel, or something with praziquantel in it. Look at the ingredients on your dog pills, they have praziquantel in them. Praziquantel dose for chickens is 4.5 mg per pound.

Wormout Gel dose is 47 ml per gallon for two days. Repeat in 10-14 days. Treats almost all poultry worms

Equimax dose is 0.03 ml per pound and repeat in 10-14 days. This will not treat all poultry worms. Tapes yes, and maybe large roundworms, but does not treat cecal worms, gapeworms, or capillary worms.

Tapeworms. Yes. Not maggot absolutely not maggot.
I don't mean to bug...

But DID you see them in the chicken droppings as well?

Ivermectin is what I believe was used when my dog had it way back when... which I see is the active ingredient in... actually AN active ingredient in the equimax.

Poop inspector general... can you tell me how the same ingested flea could equal a different species of tapeworm in a chicken verses a dog, please? Not arguing, but attempting to understand. Thank you :pop
