Not sure why people say to do that, it makes no sense to me. Makes more sense to follow up with Wazine. If I were you I would follow up in 10-14 days with Wazine, then the next time you worm use Valbazen or Safeguard. Why do people follow up 2 weeks with another wormer after using wazine? Why isn't wazine good enough?
If you found worms, that's good, and no need to worry.Okay, well here's my issue and I'm hoping I didn't mess up. After reading forums and such I went out and wormed my chickens with zimecterin. Went out this morning and found worms in two of my chickens poop. But then I realized people said to do wazine first then follow up with another wormer. Should I be worried?
You might want to get some Safeguard and worm her 5 days in a row, 'cause ivermectin is not a very good poultry wormer.I have a lathagric chicken that has lost a lot of weight and is always sleepy other than that no other symptoms. My guess was right that she had worms a huge one. I'm just scared I gave her the strongest one first i might of hurt her. I'm not sure. Thank goodness for this website because I would be so lost when it comes to treating my chickens
