ok i dont have alot of peafowl but i have 12 currently and ive been using safeguard milky liquid for goats, is there any safe way i can worm them without catching them and squirting it, we have been doing this and its such a hassle and really messes up thier feathers? thanks

In my large pens I will use Valbazen in the water at 30 ml per gallon of water. I only make up as much as they will take down in 24 hours and make fresh daily. You can not do this with Safeguard as it is not water soluble. There are three advantages to using Valbazen, it is less expensive than Safeguard, it is water soluble, and it also kills tapeworm that SG does not. Another way you can sue the Safeguard you already have is to put it in the feed. Count how many birds are in the pen and add the correct amount of SG to a small amount of water and mix that medicated water into the crumbles. Be sure to only give them as much as they will eat in one day and make fresh daily. It also helps if you take the food away from them early the day before you medicate the feed so they will be hungry and eat the medicated feed readily.
