I too use herbs. My birds free range and are not stuck on dirt all day. If it is nessary to worm chickens 2 times a day why don't they make a wormer for chickens? Why is every one using cattle or goat workers?

We use Wazine 17. I wouldnt eat an egg while the chickens are being wormed either. We wait about 14 days if we worm them one time. Im with Dawg53, I can miss a few eggs to make sure they are healthy. Its not like we worm them every month. The way I do mine is I worm half of them today and next month worm the other half. That way I still have eggs to eat. [IMG] There are ways around everything in life, it just takes time to figure out how to get around.

Wazine 17 only gets rid of large roundworms.

Yes, I know. Thats about all we get around here if we get any. I also have another one we use, Safeguard, depending on what we have. Roundworms are most common we have if we have any at all.
