Worming Chickens?

X2 I care about my hens, that’s why I use herbs. :old
I too use herbs. My birds free range and are not stuck on dirt all day. If it is nessary to worm chickens 2 times a day why don't they make a wormer for chickens? Why is every one using cattle or goat workers?

We use Wazine 17. I wouldnt eat an egg while the chickens are being wormed either. We wait about 14 days if we worm them one time. Im with Dawg53, I can miss a few eggs to make sure they are healthy. Its not like we worm them every month. The way I do mine is I worm half of them today and next month worm the other half. That way I still have eggs to eat.

There are ways around everything in life, it just takes time to figure out how to get around.

Wazine 17 only gets rid of large roundworms.

Yes, I know. Thats about all we get around here if we get any. I also have another one we use, Safeguard, depending on what we have. Roundworms are most common we have if we have any at all.
