Worming Chickens?

Quote:

The effectiveness of a substance doesn't change with location

It either works or it doesn't, and most "herbs" simply do not affect parasites at all
The worm population is very high in places where the weather conditions (among other things) positively affect the life cycle of worms.

When the worm population is very high it makes it hard for the herbs to work...

Dictionary: facts

1 Something that actually exists; reality; truth.

2 A truth known by actual experience or observation; something known to be true.
Speaking of facts, instead of showing dictionary definitions to educate yourself...with all the organic worming that you so covet...how about trully helping others with your preachings of organics, for example: What do you recommend for organic worming? What is the dosage? For how long? Are there contraindications with anything else being used such as ACV or electrolytes or poultry nutri drench? What is the price of the product and where can it be purchased, shipping charges? These are the things that others want to know, not just blathering and definitions.
IF you trully want to help others...post all available information possible about the product(s.) You recently posted a whole list of organic wormers. How about answering the questions aforementioned about those products for everyone to see... then they can make their own decision to either go organic or chemical.

ok i havent wormed my babies yet but if herbs truly worked they would even work on the larger infestations, although it would take longer, so to me imo they arent worth my time. my flock is mainly for looks and i do some incubation so doing an actual worming with a good wormer wont bother me one bit at least i know the worms are gone from my flock and all my chickens are healthy

I don't see any "bashing" , and the only way to help people is by sticking to facts rather than fantasy

I never said there were any bashing. All I said was thats what alot of people do instead of sticking to the topic at hand and to the facts. They just want to find something wrong with what you expressed as your opinion. If you have been on a forum much at all, you have ran across these people I am sure. So far I dont have any on my forum yet, but Im sure they will come.

No one "worms chickens 2 times a day"

Wormers are wormers, no matter what animal is on the label.

There ARE wormers tested and marketed for chickens, and many can be used on other species as well.

The reason people use " cattle or goat wormers" is because that is how most of them are LABELED,

Safeguard (Panacur, Fenbendazole) is the same chemical, no matter what animal you put on the bottle.

Ivomec can be used on anything from a mouse to an elephant, including humans, but you won't find a bottle at the feed store labeled "ELEPHANT WORMER"

Learn the chemistry and don't worry about a picture on the bottle

Okay for one the 2 times a day was a typo, should have said 2 times a day. The only thing I saw that has directions for chicken use is wazine.
