Worming Dilemma

Dogs can handle residue in eggs, no problem. The exception being ivermectin or a ivermectin derivitive if the dog is a collie or sheepdog...risky at best I would think. You probably know this already.
Yea, the last time I wormed birds I used ivermectin. I prefer to be safe than sorry with my dogs.
I’d have to double check the dog’s wormers before I fed them those eggs. Lord knows we don’t need more resistant parasites haha.

What do you give your dogs?
I used to give mine Trifexis. I didnt care for it and switched to Heartgard Plus and NexGard. That stuff aint cheap! Neither was the Trifexis grrr.

Currently I give them Advantage multi. That was mostly because I could use it on my ferret as well, but now that he’s passed I’m just using up our year’s supply.
I like having an all-in-one, but if the fleas get out of hand then I’ll switch to bravecto and heartgard.
