and i have already put them in my birds. they seemed bright and happy and not to bad. tho when i went out and gave them some bread they attacked the peices. the only thing wrong with them is their weight and they dont lay.
and i dont have a spot for them to dust right now cause of the snow...they usually dust themselves out in their run but they cant now
DE can normally be purchased at feedstores - you must find food grade DE, there are tons of threads about that.
I can't say much more as you already introduced them to your chickens, there are plenty of things you could have introduced at the same time, I would say worms are the least of the potential worries.
