Nice!!!! What is safe guard is that something i should be using instead?
Since my peacock needs to be comfinrd for his treatment of antibiotics, once he is finished with that, I am going to deworm him. He is usually free and wild, so he has never been dewormed before. I have read that everyone was using Fenbendazole, though everyone has different dosages. i'm going to be giving it to him in a syringe, I never put deworners in animals water or food, because I want to make sure they get all of it. Anyways, I want to know exactly how much to give him, and at what concentration, so exactly how how many ml's (and the milligram in each ML ). I guess I'll get the liquid goat one, the concentration is important , so I'm sure I have the right one. I do have horse ones, but they are in a paste form, and that would be very hard to calculate I think. Also, I'm going to be giving it for multiple days probably four to five, so I need the dosage based on that. Thank you!
Safeguard liquid for goats and Safguard paste for horses are both 10%. One ml of paste weighs oe gram, so one ml of paste is exactly the same as 1 ml of liquid, both have 100 mg. With me so far?
If you want to worm for cecal worms, gape worms, large roundworms, and capillary worms, give 0.23 ml per pound orally for five days.
Does that help?
