I'm 99% positive my Roo has worms... He has watery poop with these nasty little white larvae looking things in it. I've given him safeguard twice in the last month, about a week apart and still the nasty poop. He is showing no other signs really... The occasional nap maybe but I catch them all taking a break sometimes. No one else has any symptoms either and have regular poop. What am I doing wrong and what should I do??

First, check his vent and the rest of his body for maggots and rule those out. Then if you want to worm him for roundworms, cecal worms, gapeworms, capillary worms and possibly some species of tapeworms, give Safeguard at 0.23ml per pound orally *five* days in a row. If you still see worms, post a picture of them.

Thanks Kathy.
Looking at some more pics online I think it must be tapeworm, is safeguard for 5 days the best way to go or should I try Valbazen?

There is a study that shows Safeguard will work on one species of tapes, so you could try that first. There is also a study that says Valbazen should work. Some people use Zimectrin Gold horse paste 'cause it has praziquantel in it, and praziquantel will get them for sure.
