Worming

I am worming one of my hens. She has been having diarrhea. Today was day 5 with the Safeguard wormer. Her diarrhea is gone. Never saw any worms, but the fact the diarrhea is gone makes me pretty sure she had them. My question is, if you only give it for 5 days, what about eggs from the worms hatching and living which starts the cycle again? Can I give it again in a week to catch the ones that may of hatched?
