Peter Brown at First State Veterinary Supply recommends mixing 1cc valbazen in 8cc's water and give 2cc's to each bird orally...supposedly for better gut coverage. I've never done that but the results are the same...dead worms. It's easier to orally dose with 1cc or less without mixing it in water.

IMO, his instructions dilute it too much. And I'm not positive, but I think his instructions for Safeguard are the same.

This is the first time I've been to their website in a long time. They have a new updated website. It's possible they may have had the liquid on the old site, dont remember.

Yeah, if I'm going to catch them and oral dose by hand, I'm just going to give them the 1cc, I don't see the point in faffing about with water too. More chance to spill/spit.
