Worms in chicken poop what should I do?

I didn't take a picture but it was tan colored and a little thicker than a thread, a couple inches long. I have some Ivermectin, would this be roundworm? I have only put the Ivermectin on their skin so far so I don't know if this would be a different application. I haven't used it in a couple months.

This is what roundworm looks like:

It's possible that it could have been a bit of undigested fiberous plant, if it didn't look like this.
Cecal worms are a smaller kind of roundworm, much smaller.
A picture would be best for IDing it.
Do you have a vet that will do a fecal test for you? That would be best, to know for sure. to make sure you use the best medication at the correct dosing for whatever you are trying to get rid of.
Some parasites have become resistant to ivermectin, so I would recommend that if you are going to worm that you use Safeguard (either liquid goat wormer or horse paste) or Valbazen, those will take care of most common parasites, except tapeworm.
