Worms

I bought a small bag of Strike III pellets. I hope this will work. The worms I have been seeing in droppings look like ceceal worms according to the imagines when I google.

I'm surprised you could still find Strike 3 as it is supposed to be off the market now. It might work, although it takes a lot longer to work than the other dewormers mentioned here. If your flock is not underweight and otherwise seems healthy, it might be OK. We only use Strike 3 as a preventative.

Also, I break up the Strike 3 pelletsinto smaller pieces, They are so long that sometimes our chickens avoid eating them, I guess they think they look unappetizing. Breaking them up a little (not a lot) seems to help.

Is this a worm? If so, what kind. I noticed some runny yellow poop when I was cleaning the coop and it had this in it. :-(

Sadly no. I left it on the box and it dried out and the ants got to it. It was very stretchy before it dried out.
Looks more like intestinal lining to me, which could be from worms, coccidia, or infection. Do you know which bird produced it?
