I'm not really sure what to put this under category wise, but my Chicken has Tape Worms. She also happens to have 4 chicks just under 2 weeks old. Is this okay? Will it harm the chicks if they get it? Causes and cures? Long story short she pooped, it was close to me (i was sitting down) and i saw little squiggly white things :sick it was disgusting.

If one chicken has worms, and you've seen them, so there's no guessing, all your chickens are vulnerable. The worms lay eggs in the intestines and they get pooped out where other chickens can pick them up. Some species can even infect humans if you walk barefoot on the ground.

Your best course of action is to get an all species wormer such as Safeguard, and treat all the chickens, not just the one who shows visible signs of having them.

If in fact it's tapeworm segments you're seeing in feces, you will only have to treat the chicken that is infected. It is not necessary to treat other birds unless you actually see tapeworm segments in their feces.
See pics below, these are tapeworm segments.

That’s not good news. I walk barefoot almost daily. Despite fire ants. I’m paranoid now.

Call around to your local vets on Monday. Ask them if they will run a fecal float test on some fresh poop if you bring it in a dish.

Look up photos of roundworms...they are the most common in chickens...see if that is what you saw.

If you had to guess about how long was it?
