the problem is from her previous issue with pooping is keeping her bottom wet and very stinky not regular stink its a stomach turning stink not sure why. I have clipped her feathers to try to keep her drier but to keep her clean I would have to be washing her bottom every 10 minutes. that's why I really need something that I can put on her bottom to detour the flies when they come around. I spray her bottom off several times a day with warm soapy water but I need something in between that. will vetericyn do this for me?

Also I would give your chickens garlic powder sprinkled on their food. The flies don't like garlic. So when the garlic passes through her maybe that will deter the flies as well.

Probably. I would feed it to her too though, it actually helps them to be healthy too. Have you tried feeding probiotics to help her with her poop problem? If you could solve the problem you wouldn't have to go through all this bathing work...

I know i would LOVE to eliminate the problem its actually driving me insane to to try to keep her clean because I cant all the time. she stinks so bad its hard to keep her in my house.i went back and even got more of the med. I have taken her to the vet and he did xrays said she was impacted somewhat from things eaten that went through her crop but not her system. he gave us meds that helped at first moved it out for a a while what is was is she was screaming and straining really hard is why we took her to be seen. so this is just letting her pass some poop and the watery part just keeps running out and making her wet and stink. which draws the flies.

All those meds she definitely needs probiotics to strengthen her system.
