Worried about baby chick :/

Are you providing her with a little supplemental heat?
Can you post some photos of how you are keeping her?
The lump on her beak and inside her beak - has it increased in size, stayed the same or reduced in size - how have you been treating the lump?

You mention "shell grit" - is this oyster shell or granite poultry grit?  If it is oyster shell then switch and give her granite poultry grit.

Huddling could be an indication of Cocci, you can find Corid at your local feed store.

This is the shell grit i use.

Quote: Can you take her to a vet or a fecal sample to the vet for testing?

Shell grit is generally made of oyster shell (seashells) this is used for extra calcium in actively laying hens. This would have too much calcium for a chick as young as yours.

See if your local feed store has any Chick Grit - this is crushed granite.

I have looked and there isn't any vets that treat chickens nor are there any pet stores that sell that kinda stuff.

Update: so i let the chick free range for a while and she seems to be fine, scratching, taking dust baths, sun bathing, eating and drinking. I also put so iodide salt in her water.

Placing salt in her water is unnecessary. So don't do that anymore.

I'm glad to hear that she is moving and eating/drinking well.

Yea but just because she is acting ok she might not be on the inside so i an still kinda worried.

Quote: That is always a possibility, but too much salt is dangerous as well. It's best NOT to give salt in the water. Her feed should have the appropriate amount. If you feel like she needs something added to her water, you can add some poultry vitamins once or twice a week. Follow the directions on your package or bottle. Give fresh clean plain water the rest of the time.

I'm starting to think its cranker because she cannot fully close her mouth.
