You should be. Here in good old upstate NY we've been above 32F for about 6 days since Dec. 1st (today and yesterday being 2 of them) and are expecting more below zero temperatures over the weekend. My 40+ birds have been in and out of their coop most days with little or no sign of problems--this includes a couple of Black Star sex-links with really high combs. I on the other hand have had a sore spot on my right ear for about a week. Today I went to Dr. about it. Yup, I, somehow, got frostbite on my ear while working outside last week. So it can happen, just not to your birds but to you. Cover up!
 
Just rub vaseline on it and eat more high protein layer pellets. You'll be fine.
