Worried about my button quail chicks not eating!

Really worried about my two button quail chicks who are coming up to 48 hours old. They're drinking but don't seem to be eating at all. I've ground their crumb up and keep tapping my finger on it but they just aren't interested. In desperation I keep putting some egg yolk to their beaks but they don't like it and it's made they all sticky now. Help!!

Are you absolutely certain they're not eating? Button chicks are tiny and don't eat a lot.

Well I've not seen them eat anything. There are a couple of poops but could that be from the yolk that they absorbed before they hatched?

Are the poops tiny and green? Those might be from the yolk, but if there's more than one from each chick, they're eating.

They are tiny and one is greenish that I can make out but there are only 3 at the most. Also they're looking very sticky from the egg yolk I've been trying to give them - will that be a problem?

I meant the buttons fur is looking very sticky from the egg yolk I've been trying to get them to eat!

If they're running around, they're fine. Worry if they start getting lethargic. I wouldn't do the egg yolk, but rather something like Nutri-drench or Save-a-chick mixed with water in a dropper. Let us know how they're doing in a while.
