She is currently 3lb 15oz, I weigh all of my ducks once a week to keep an eye on them.

Mind you none of them got weighed last week, we were out of town for the holidays, a neighbor was taking care of them for us. But I did weigh all of them, including Sassy, and she lost several ounces while we were gone, plus did not lay eggs the entire time we were gone. She has laid eggs everyday since we have been home though.

Yes I let them free range around my backyard. What kind of flush? Also I am still on the hunt for a vet, I have found one, but she is on vacation until the 6th. I have feelers out for another vet, but have not heard back as of yet.

She seemed to be doing a little better this morning and this evening even more so, but I am still keeping a close eye on her.

If you can tell she is doing better maybe just watch and see if she keeps on getting better. Its very important when doing a flush you follow the instructions to a T because they can cause dehydration.

Good news! Ms.Sassy continues to improve, weighed her and she is at 5lb 8.2oz. Her sassy attitude is returning with a vengeance!

Oops, it's 4lb not 5. I will weigh her again in a couple of days.

I have also put in a few calls and am awaiting replies from potential vets.

Great news! My Ms.Sassy is continuing to improve and has not only gained weight back but has also put on a little extra. She is her usual sassy self and is quickly establishing her dominance over the other girls. Please ignore the weight on the scale in the picture, she moved just as I took the picture, she actually weighs 5lbs 4.5oz.
