I was trying to show the OP that her Blue Orp was a pullet... didn't mean to hijack the thread with my baby. I don't think I have a single chicken picture that doesn't include one of my 3 little ones.

Bluebell looks like a pullet to me. A pretty one, too!

Yup, I definitely still say pullet. I have 3 BOs and 2 have a huge red comb and waddles. The third's are much smaller and lighter pink. All 3 started laying at the same time, and all 3 tried to go broody within weeks of each other (I had to stop the last one... I need eggs!) So I think there is just a wide scope on BO combs/waddles. I see nothing rooish at all about Bluebell.

I bet she starts soon-- I want to say mine were right around 5 months when they started-- and they were ridiculously tiny at first (especially for such big hens)
