Mine is not really a worst breed, but instead the meanest chicken. That would be my two Partridge Olive Eggers. They are probably two of the most beautiful hens I’ve had, and cost way too much. I got both as day old chicks and raised them inside. Once they hit the teen weeks, these two just came in like a wrecking ball and gave my top two hens a once over and my poor old girls are now scared to death of one of them especially. However, they are mean to every hen/pullet. They lay beautiful green eggs, but I’ll never buy another one.

Dominique. Got 3 roosters our first year, within a few months, every single male had attacked me multiple times (I was 10 at the time) absolutely refuse to keep them again.

Also bantam old English games. My females never survived past a year
Straight up my Dominique roo. My sebright is bad but he’s tiny. My Dominique roo on the other hand was a 20lb rocket that would take off at the slightest movement. So I’m with you on that one.
But on another note, my silkie cross roo is the best bird I have. He’s so sweet and friendly to the girls. But I will agree on silkie roosters having a nasty crow. My cross is fine and my recently deceased white bearded was fine but GAH the new guys I have sound like they’re dying. Anyone want a silkie rooster????

Adopted a flock of random breeds for my first chickens.
Polish Hen - would sneak into my shop and lay an egg randomly inside somewhere. Didn’t matter if I locked her up for a week. Would not use a nesting box. Won’t own another.
Americauna possible EE, did lay blue eggs - just plain mean. Mean to me, the dog, other chickens. If it had a heartbeat they were picking on it. I boiled all three for soup stock. Wasn’t sure if even then it wasn’t going to bite me.
RIR mix rooster was great to humans. Terrible to new pullets. Killed one pullet about ten weeks old. He was tasty too.

I have a love hate relationship with my silkies. I don't like the broodiness, always trying to figure out how to hide eggs so they can try to hatch them. So helpless and not the smartest, sorta like brainless cotton balls. Eggs are tiny and they take longer breaks between clutches and broodiness. The feathers on the feet look bad after walking in mud and dirt. Matter of fact my white silkies get dirt caked into there fluffy feathers when taking a wallow in dirt and they don't get sharp white again on their own like my leghorns which are always revert back to sparkling white. Good thing I don't have show birds. I would not recommend them for anything expect pets because I personally won't eat a chicken with black meat and if your looking for a egg laying machine, these are not it.
They are the worst! but I gotta love em because they are so helplessly cute!! ;)
