That’s not really a fair comparison in my view. That’s strictly a meat bird. Most people don’t keep them to be “good chickens”.How has now one mentioned Cornish x?! Lay in their own filth, try to consume each other, try to consume me, die suddenly, eat more food than anything I've ever seen, life expectancy of 8 weeks. Give me any healthy chicken breed, with a decent lifespan, reasonable laying, and weight at butcher!
A birds filth is dependent on the way someone houses and keeps there birds. It’s not the birds fault. I’ve raised them in a chicken tractor and we’re great clean birds.
