Worst chicken breed

I am not a fan of Lavender Orpingtons, either. We had two hens. One crowed (and, yes, produced eggs). They were not good layers, and just generally not great birds for us.

I raise buff orpingtons and chocolate orpingtons, and any other color besides buff are crazy and erratic for some reason.

I'm still very new to having chickens and ours is mostly "barnyard" mixes, but our Wyandottes (who we were told are full wyandottes) are just not my favorite. I do wonder if we had them from chicks if they would be more kind with the other hens and us. They have come a long way since we got them, but they are the most stubborn of our hens, and the most bossy.

The worst breeds are the breeds with traits you do not like. For instance if you're looking for a breed that's predator savvy, lays a lot of eggs and rarely goes broody a Silky is a bad breed for you.There are no bad breeds but some breeds may be a bad fit

I know but they just aren’t the right bird for me, I know others like them. I’m just annoyed they are in my barnyard mix, my dad just picked one on impulse from TSC when we got our first girls. Also he just keeled over and died one day, no disease nothing wrong with him (the silkie not my dad )

We don't have any silkies right now, but our first flock we had three and loved them! They were super sweet. Ours didn't seem dumb or anything. Our breeder is going to try to hatch us some this coming spring LORD willing! I'm excited! I will say one of the females was more flighty then the other two, but I would giggle watching her flop around! Our silkie rooster help defend the girls to the end. I know he couldn't have physically done much even if he had been full grown, but his dedication was sweet.
