Worst. Movie. Ever.

I had so much hope for Year One. I had read that they were trying to make it similar to Monty Python.

Um....no.

First, it isn't intelligent enough to be anywhere close to The Holy Grail. Second, The Holy Grail wasn't about one actor. It was about the skits. Year One was about Jack Black. He didn't seem to have the ability to step back and let the jokes stand on their own. Yes, it had some funny parts but overall, it fell disappointingly short.

I just saw the movie last night, so my disappointment and annoyance is pretty fresh. LOL

The Happening. I had to leave the room it was so bad.

All these people who dislike one of my favorite actors. LOL I like Jim Carey, he's a goofball, but he seems like such a fun and talented person. One of the few actors I'd like to meet in person, just seems like one of those people that are clowns 24/7 and always have people rolling around them.

Then again, I grew up with my father goofing off and quoting Jim Carey all the time. We still do it today. When we speed down are dirt driveway and hit all the potholes, usually one of us bounce around dramatically and say "This land holds great beauty."

You all are listing movies i thought were fair, or good lol.. Try watching Kungpow enter the fist, or most of the B movies which my blockbuster seems to love.. I've seen some horrible movies, just forgot the names. Maybe I'm just not too picky? Though i guess baby momma could fit in there.. I've watched it twice when i had gotten bored and didn't want to watch anything else. But it wasn't as funny, or entertaining as some people i know made it out to be. Dad called it "Yankee humor"

ETA: Think it's mostly generations. Like my grandmother for example.. Can't stand lord of the rings or most of the new movies, but she can watch Chitty Chitty bang bang, wizard of oz, and Marry Poppins over and over.. Wizard of oz is still a classic, but chitty chitty bang bang and Marry Poppins never took much interest with me.

What happend to movies like 'Titanic' that America seemed to love? Couldnt wait to see it on the screen then have to reserve it at blockbuster before it was even out?! (or maybe that was just me

I figured it would be dumb. I tried to worn people not to waste their money.

A couple movies I thought were aweful: Napolin Dinomite, The Grudge part 1, The Blair Witch Prodject. What a total waste of money. Not just in the tickets. But just in the making of the movie.

You didn't like the Grudge??

I didn't like it, but probably for different reasons. It was WAY too scary for me!!

It probably would have helped if I didn't have a black cat at the time that liked to go through any open door, and also if I didn't have closets that were raised. She about scared me to death jumping out of one of the closet doors at me!
