Worst. Movie. Ever.

Blair Witch Project was awful! Everyone said it was so scary, and I was so disappointed. Who wants to watch people running around screaming in the woods?

I think that people found Blair Witch Project scary because it was originally thought to be true. Of course, it wasn't. Like I bet you did, I saw the movie already knowing that it was fake, so I thought it was stupid also.

How many times can they say the "F" word in a movie? Whover watches it next, count them. Has to be triple digits.

Who was in "Blackout"? I've tried to google it and can't find one from the '80's or '90's, or even before 2006 or 7.

This thread cracks me up! Some of my favorite movies are appearing: "Little Miss Sunshine", "Pulp Fiction" "Donny Darko", I really liked all of those movies. I also enjoyed "Stranger than Fiction", it was odd and sweet at the same time (although it was a tad contrived here and there).

There is only one Jim Carey movie that I have ever liked "Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind" is beautiful. I actually whined to my hubby when it showed up in our Netflix mail a few years ago, he knows I can't stand anything with Jim Carey in it. It's still my favorite movie. A love story for the freaky creative artist set, there just aren't many for us.

Oh, and I just saw and loved "Where the Wild Things Are". It's not a young kids movie, but is true to Maurice Sendak's character and writing. The acting in it is fantastic. But, it is not an idealized view of children or childhood, it's messy and complex.

But, I did remember another hideous movie. I don't know how I forgot "WaterWorld"...oh wait, I do know how I forgot it. The most expensive forgettable movie ever made.

Then there is "Clockwork Orange", sick and misogynistic to an extreme. It's one that I wish I had never subjected myself to. It hides behind its creepy evil nature by pretending to be high minded.

I brought home Little Miss Sunshine and heard "F" this, "F" that. My husband just looked at me the entire movie, like it was my fault.

The next time, I brought home "Eternal Sunshine..." Same thing. "F", "F", "F".
He looked at me again.

Next time, i brought home another movie with "Sunshine" in the title, can't remember what, and the SAME THING!!!!

I now realize "Sunshine" is code for the "F" word.

There was a recent release of a movie with Brad Pitt and George Clooney and John Malkovich (that should have raised a red flag). The movie was odd but HILARIOUS, but Brad Pitt cussed his head off the whole time. What was that called?

The F bomb doesn't bother me, as long as it is because the character demands it and not because the director obviously wants a higher rating. One of my favorite series of all time "The Wire" took a bit of getting used to because of the language, but it was very true to the characters (drug dealers and police in Baltimore, MD). I'm glad I stuck it out, it was an amazing show.
