would a rooster have crowed by 18 weeks

What breed birds are those? They kind of look like pea combs, but can't really see.

Need a CLOSE up, like this...this is a single row pea comb on an 16 week old EE pullet:

This is the pullet/cockerel I was unsure about... S/He made the last two culls because there just was something that made me pause... I am now pretty convinced its a pullet, single comb, small legs... She was sired by an EE roo over and Australorp hen.... What threw me was this chick had some pretty good looking saddle feathers and the rust colored feathers on her sides, but just in the last week or so the saddle feathers are not as prominent as they were (or I thought they were) Looking forward to seeing what color eggs she gives, in the past the mixes have given me either a light olive green, light brown or light blue.. she is about 4.5 months
