Change of plans

Glad to help! Without a bright light I can't see anything in a dark egg except shadows
My marans eggs are pretty dark and I don't have issues, it's not as clear as regular eggs but I can still see what's going on, these eggs I can't. I used a led flashlight and still couldn't see anything until way later in development, and then all I could see was the air cell. So 🤷‍♀️

I've been sanitizing waterers twice a day, and did a clean out on the coop in hopes of lowering the viral load. Can't really do anything in the run since it's a deep littler method run, but raked up what feathers I could. I cleaned that little girl's eye with saline and put the antimicrobial gel on it again and let her out, she seems quite happy🥰

I am happy to report no other infection as of today and everyone who had lesions is looking better and better every day! Unlike Onyx, Sansa actually allows me by her littles so I got some great pics today. This time of day she takes them on the far side of my she shed in the chicken yard and they hang out, so I grabbed a little cup of gamebird feed (that's what I feed chicks for the first 4 weeks, it's got plenty of protein and is way cheaper than chick starter) and went over there and had a seat. The other birds were preoccupied with their own snacks and wet dirt, lol. That black ameraucana in the last pic is staring right at me like stranger danger🤣
