Would a tiny lash egg come out w poop???

3 year old hen is lethargic, won't eat. I gave her an Epsom soak, electrolytes & "fire" water. She just pooped and it looks like a tiny lash egg came out w the poop? Can this happen? How should I treat?

Yeah it does look small. If you cannot cut it due to size, try squishing it between your fingers and see if it's rubbery or if it just mashes down. Lash material should be more rubbery.

It does look like lash material, and the urates, which are normally white kidney waste, are yellow which may be a sign of a reproductive disorder. Do you see one of the hens with her tail down, looking a bit lethargic or separating herself? Lash eggs are due to salpingitis, inflammation of the oviduct.
